Background

Our pressure sensitive force activated USB response is competitively is competitively priced and exceeds the specifications of any other response pad currently on the market. It appears to your experiment as a standard USB keyboard where a button response registers as a standard key press whilst streaming force data telling you how hard each button was pressed. What's more every button press also produces a TTL event mark or TTL trigger!

1-5 button pressure sensitive force activated USB response pad pricing

We are confident we have a response pad for you. If one of our standard pressure sensitive force activated response pad layouts doesn't meet your needs you have the option to add force sensors and choose your own button locations. You might even decide to add a feedback light, or LED, for each button. For custom orders you will need to request a formal quotation.

All response pads ship with two USB host leads (one for streaming button force data and one to send keystrokes to your PC as though a button had been pressed on a standard keyboard). You have the option of adding an 8-way TTL lead which allows 1-5 buttons to each produce a unique TTL event marking signal for the duration of each button press once a given force threshold is reached.

The TTL lead also allows for 2 triggers to be fed into the pressure sensitive force activated USB response pad (PSURP). These triggers can be used to align external visual and auditory events with force or pressure curves recorded in response to stimuli presented by your experiment. Many of our products can be used to produce triggers in response to visual and auditory stimulus materials detected in the real world, e.g. The Black Box ToolKit v3 or the mBBTK v2 (event marking version). Or for producing triggers directly from your own scripts our USB TTL Module might prove a useful addition.
